Our Story

Uniparts was established in Chicago in 1973 to serve the material handling industry. Uniparts initially focused on parts for electric forklifts, however with the changing technology in the industry we realized the future was in servicing electrical controls. We have been located at our present location 939 Industrial Drive in Bensenville, IL since 1979.

We are currently in a 10,000 square foot building, 20 employees, 40 test forklifts, 1000’s of parts, & 1000’s of controllers ready to serve you. We specialize in forklift controller repairs & have unique relationships with many dealers & manufacturers. Our unique relationships allow us to offer technical support & troubleshooting to customers around the world.

We primarily test all controllers under actual conditions with DC Batteries and Panels, in addition to forklifts to assure quality repairs & a superior product. The last 20 years has changed Uniparts from primarily a wholesale parts seller to an electronics repair facility for forklift components. We repair controllers, chargers, multifunction handles, logic cards,SCR Panels, & displays. Basically we cover all of the DC & AC applications over the last 30 years.
